Your private watch-party room, explained
A LofiCouch room is a little corner of the internet for you and up to three people you love. Press play together, talk the whole way through and make an ordinary weeknight feel like you are sharing a couch.
Who can join
You choose who comes in. Share your room code or invitation link with your partner, best friend or family, and they sign in to join. Keep the link within your circle, just as you would a house key.
Playback and conversation
The host leads playback, and everyone stays in exact frame-by-frame sync. Talk over built-in voice chat, or drop a message and an emoji in text chat when the plot twist lands. Video calls are coming soon.
Set the mood
Pick from eight room themes: Midnight, Cozy, Cupid, Evening Café, Sunflower, Sports Night and Rainy Day, plus one we'll let you find yourself. A lofi night, a romantic date or a loud match night each get their own vibe.
Come back to your room
Save your favorite rooms so the same room is waiting next week. You can keep two rooms you host and four you have joined, which makes a standing Friday movie night easy.
How you watch together
Paste a YouTube link or a Google Drive video, and it plays right in the room on any device. For Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar or Crunchyroll, play the title on the streaming site on desktop, and the free extension lets the host pin it to the room. Guests get the option to join the pinned video, and you all watch together.
Watch your memories together
A room is a lovely place to rewatch your wedding film, a birthday video, an old family trip or college memories with the people who were there. Share the video from Google Drive as publicly shared and streamable, and use videos you own or have permission to share. The room's invitation keeps the evening private; the file's own sharing settings stay as you set them in Drive.

How many people fit in a room?
Up to four, including the host. Just right for a date night or a small crew of best friends.
How do friends join?
Share your room code or link. Each person signs in, taps join and lands right beside you.
Can I use a room for two?
Yes. Plenty of rooms are just two people and a movie. The extra places are there whenever friends want in.
Is hosting free?
Yes. Hosting is free with no credit card, and so is the extension. Streaming subscriptions stay with each person.
