Start a watch party in three steps
Open a private room, invite the people you miss and press play together. Everyone signs in, and hosting is free, with no credit card. So is the extension. Let's LofiCouch.
1. Create your room
Sign in to LofiCouch and open your room for the night. It fits you plus up to three others, so a date for two or a little group catch-up both feel right at home.
2. Invite your people
Send your room code or invitation link to your partner, best friend or family. They sign in, tap join and pull up a seat beside you.
3. Choose what to watch
On any device, paste a YouTube link or a publicly shared, streamable Google Drive video that you own or have permission to share. Live streams, music videos and your own home movies all work right in the room.
On desktop, the free extension brings in Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and Crunchyroll. Open the title on the streaming site, pin it to your room and everyone watches on their own account, in exact frame-by-frame sync.
Before the first play
Make sure everyone can open the same title, then say hi on voice chat before you press play. The host leads playback, so nobody has to count down from three. Text chat with emojis is there for the moments that need a reaction.
Keep the next watch ready
Save your favorite rooms and come back to the same room next week. Pick tonight's title and a backup before you start, and your movie night becomes a ritual.
Questions about setup
Which services does the extension handle?
The free extension brings Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and Crunchyroll into your room on desktop. YouTube and Google Drive play right in LofiCouch, so you can start those without it.
Can we talk while we watch?
Yes. Built-in voice chat lets you talk the whole way through, and text chat has emojis for everything else. Video calls are coming soon.
What if a title is unavailable to someone?
Pick something everyone can open where they are. Each person watches on their own account, so a quick check before movie night keeps everyone together.
Where can I get help?
